March. Enough said.

Please go on a journey with me.  I am working on some emotions, and I need to get them out.  March 8, 2005.  Stephen Dumm enters the world.  Crazy as ever, but he will be 7 next Thursday.  March 18, 2008.  Michael comes into this world.  We literally prayed, and knew he would be born that day.  March 15, 2010. We deliver Hope.  Hope returns to her Father in Heaven.  March 3, 2011.  We deliver Matthew.  Matthew returns to his Father in Heaven.  March 2012?  Focus on the good that has come out of March.  Are we going to have anymore kids?  Wait for next March.  Because if we do, there is no messing with the month of March.  Tomorrow, will mark 1 year from when we lost our precious little Matthew.  I was talking to Chris earlier, and I am a little bummed at where I am at in my life.  What has changed this past year?  My weight is pretty much still the same.  The sadness is still there, but in a healthier way.  The crappy part is, my mind keeps wandering to what I have lost in the Month of March.  We have a little joke in our family, that Chris' bad month is August.  My bad month is March.  We will see how we do this March.  I am already struggling.  I feel like I am in a funk.  A sad funk.  I work through it, but it is still there.  I pretty much want to sleep away the funk.  But, alas, Phineas and Ferb only last so long, and Mulan can only be played once a day.  Those are the boys' favorite movies.  I have a lot of goals this month.  I hope I can keep them.  I get to see my family in a couple of weeks!  So excited for that!  We have been preparing, and that might be why I am in a funk.  I get into these modes where I seriously long for my family to be closer.  This is why everyone needs to buy Web cam's so that we can Skype!  Theme for this month, is Count my blessings.  If you have a chance to read I know that My redeemer lives, please do.  It helped me a lot during the difficult times.

His hands. His mighty Hands

Today, I want to share with you the most awesome experience.  I could have killed a person today.  Unintentionally.  I know with out a doubt that our Heavenly Father is watching over us.  All of us, everyday.  And today, he was seriously watching over me.  Let me back track a second...

Yesterday, being Monday, I was out hammering in some Shepherd hooks into my front yard.  It wasn't a real hammer, and it wasn't a sledge hammer, and it wasn't a mallet.  It was all of those things combined.  That's what I was using.  This morning, I couldn't remember where I put the tool, but I thought nothing of it.  I did my usual Tuesday routine.  Take Stephen to the carpool spot, come home, leave again to take Michael to preschool.  This consists of me getting on the freeway, traveling 70mph.  Dropping Michael off at preschool, going to our old home in Roseville to finish cleaning it out.  As I got out of my truck, I walked behind it, and I noticed, that right there.. RIGHT THERE!!... Was the tool that I was using yesterday!!  I have this relationship with Heavenly Father, that i feel, is a unique one.  I can imagine, that he is driving with me, with one hand on the back bumper, slowly shaking his head..  Saying.."Jenilyn, you don't need this in your life right now!"  I don't know if you grasp the idea of what I am getting at.  But, I could have killed someone!  It could have bounced off the back of my bumper and into someones windshield.  I could be in Jail for involuntary manslaughter.. Yeah.  I am the criminal type..  Holy Cow! It scared me so bad, and also made me so extremely grateful.  How has Heavenly Father held your hand lately?

Recap of the amazing..

Holy cow!  I feel like I love blogging.  I don't do it enough, but it makes me write down funny things that happen through out the week so that I can blog them.  Once I unpack my journal, I don't know if you will be seeing a lot of me.  First things first, we MOVED!  Finally and officially, we live in Rio Linda!  *woot Woot*  (Inserted specifically for SharaLee).  What?  You are confused?  You didn't know we were moving?  Come on!  Get with the prorgram!  We were fortunate enough to purchase a cute little home on 1 1/2 acres.  We have been in the process of remodeling it since March.  Well, Saturday, we moved in!  Right after we moved in, we left.  Chris and I really wanted to go to the temple, and we had a babysitter all lined up.  We were leaving 1 hour and 30 minutes late to drop them off.  We get in the truck, and What?  Oh, yeah, the truck doesn't start,  then we go back in the house to get the battery charger, and we trip the alarm system.  YEAH!  Our alarm works!  Yeah!  No worries, we turned it off, and we got the truck to start, and then we were seriously on our way to the temple when we pass a sheriff's car coming to our house.  We had to give him a copy of our drivers license, and then he left.  So, as we are driving, I realize, crap!  We left our temple bags at home!  Then I realized, CRAP!  Our temple recommends are soon to expire!  Can we still go?  We FINALLY get to the temple.  I have a strong testimony of the Temple.  I love to go and do work there, and to feel the spirit when I am there.  I think that Satan works really hard on us to get us to not go.  But we showed him!!  Hahaha!  No, I am kidding about the laughter, because I don't want to have to show him anymore.  Anyway..

Michael is Moses

Today, while visiting Grandma's house, Michael turned water into "Red water"..  This is said with your hands floating in the air and your voice really slow.  That's how he said it.  Stephen is pretty much the coolest kid on the block.  As if we had any doubts.  He is so smart!  He loves to read.  He says some pretty funny things too, but he is too smart, and then realizes that they are wrong..  Darn, huh?!  Today, as we were getting in the truck to leave Grandma's house, Chris started the truck.  Only, the lights made a popping sound, and all was dark in the truck.  We must have blown a fuse.  No worries.  Stephen's first thought..  "Guys, lets just say a prayer!"  We jump started the truck, and walah!  Now, I am home.  So grateful for the faith of my children.  They really keep me strong.  I love them.

Walmart

So, I forgot why I don't like shopping at Walmart.  Two reasons today reminded me of why I don't.  The first reason..  I was standing in line at shh.. McDonald's.. and this old man next to me said, "oh, do you only have one child?  I have 7."  Me: "No, I have 2.  I have one in School right now."  Him: "Well, you better get working on that."  Me: "Actually, I am good.  I have two here, and two in heaven.  Do you want to know more?  It's hard for me to talk to you, knowing that you can just sit here and have 7 kids, and brag about it."  (I didn't say the brag about part..)  Him:"Oh, I am so sorry,"  Me:  "I am not.  I get to see my kids when I get to heaven.  Oh, that's my happy meal, thanks."  End of first reason why I don't shop at walmart.  2nd Reason..  On trip number 2 to the bathroom with Michael, this woman, grabs my cute cardigan that I am wearing, and tugs on it and says, "Ooo.. This is super cute!"  Umm.. Did you wash your hands before you touched my shirt?  AHG!  Why do people exist!?!  Okay, enough venting..  I am just slightly moody.  I think it is too much SUGAR.  I am done with Halloween too, FYI.  Just sayin..
